Kermodes split first home game of the season

Friday, November 17th - First home game of the season in the Quest gym. The Kermodes took on the Langara College Falcons men's and women's basketball squads.

Quest WBB ended the night on a high-note with a two point win to finish off the Falcons 64-62.

Leading scorer was Kimmy Aburegeba with 22 points on 7-9 shooting with 3 steals.

Julia Gallant was perfect from downtown hitting 3-3 3 pointers to end with 17 points, 4 assists, and 5 boards.

Kyra Boulding hit 14 points, 7 boards, and 2 steals.

The Kermodes played with only 8 players and shot 41.7% for the night. 

MBB lost to Langara 117-98 in a high-scoring, fast paced match up. 

Leading scorer was Rhys Blake with a double-double 24 points and 10 boards.

Payton Tirrell chipped in 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. 

Ben Steinbrueck had 13 points and 2 assists.

Emilio Gonzalez added 12 points and 4 boards.

The Kermodes shot well with 50.6% for the night.

Both teams travel to CBC tonight to play the Bearcats. Women at 5pm - Men at 7pm.
